It was an undeniable passion for four wheel driving, fishing and getting out among Australia’s incredible natural setting that led Jason and Carmen Elliott to open Port Lincoln 4WD.

The couple from Lock and Cleve, have wanted to open their own business for many years, leading to the opening of Port Lincoln 4WD in January.

For Jason and Carmen, who have lived in Port Lincoln for nine years, the dream was to own an independent family business that they were passionate about.

“Our vision was to showcase as many ARB 4x4 accessories as possible to the Eyre Peninsula,” the couple explained.

“We wanted to focus on keeping as many products in stock as possible, while also having the facilities to fit both new and old vehicles.”

They did this by building their large showroom and garage complex at 28-30 Mortlock Terrace, including a fully equipped workshop for fitting. The team at Port Lincoln 4WD are all locals, and Jason and Carmen have committed to hiring more locals in the area as the business grows.

At the same time, all local businesses were used in the setting up of the showroom. They are able to offer Adelaide-direct prices to customers.

“We pride ourselves on customer satisfaction no matter how big or small the job. We have a real focus on attention to detail in our workmanship, and can service the whole of the Lower and Upper Eyre Peninsula. We’re always open to suggestions for products, and the whole team’s looking forward to seeing new and returning customers.”
